You might notice that one needle is slightly longer than the other. Indeed, one needle tip is 70mm long, whilst the other measures 45mm. The short needle is the ‘holding’ needle to be held in your left hand, whereas the longer, ‘working’ needle is held in the right. This clever design feature makes gripping the needle easier and knitting in the smaller circumference a far more comfortable experience.
