The main bulk of the book contains the patterns for 52 individual granny square patterns, split into 4 sections, one for each season. Each crocheted granny square is designed to measure 15cm (6in). Each pattern consists of both clear written instructions using US crochet terms (single crochet in the US is double crochet in the UK) and detailed stitch diagrams and corresponding charts to cater for all abilities and crochet styles. For crocheters more familiar with UK terms, Kylie has also included a handy pullout UK conversion chart to avoid any confusion.
The book culminates with 4 seasonal projects to crochet using the granny squares which you are free to customise however you wish. Patterns include
