Both a ruler and needle sizer in one – this knitting gauge by Pony is a must-have. The gauge runs from 2mm to 10mm to help you figure out the exact size of the majority of knitting needles and along the side is a ruler that’s perfect for checking the tension of your swatches before you start knitting. Metric (cm) measurements run down one side, and imperial (in) are printed on the other.
To use it as a needle sizer, simply slot the needle into the hole – it should stop just past its taper. If the needle goes right through, it’s smaller than that hole size. If it stops before, it’s a bigger than that size hole.
