Towards the South of Scotland, The Border Mill prides itself on producing wonderfully soft yarns with “oodles of character and impeccable provenance.” They work on a small scale, mixing both natural and dyed fibres and blending and spinning by hand in their own tiny mill in the Scottish Borders.
Please note: This yarn has a very light coating of conditioning oil to protect the delicate fibres and reduce static created during processing. You can easily remove this by gently hand washing your finished knit in warm water using a wool detergent. You’ll find the yarn will bloom slightly leaving your handknit even softer than before.
