This needle gauge is made from durable resin and can easily be slipped into your notions pouch or project bag for convenience. It measures up to 13cm long and features a handy ruler printed alongside size holes to measure knitting needles from 1.5mm to 10mm.
To use it as a needle sizer, simply slot the needle into the hole – it should stop just past it’s taper. If the needle goes right through, it’s smaller than that hole size. If it stops before, it’s a bigger than that size hole.
