The Catona cotton is 100% mercerized; a treatment which increases the cotton’s affinity for dye and causes a swelling of the fibre itself to result in a yarn with high lustre and shine. Soft and strong with excellent stitch definition and a wonderful choice of colours to choose from, Scheepjes Catona 4-ply yarn is an excellent choice for small crochet projects, particularly amigurumi toys and accessories, but also produces a light and breathable fabric for knitted summer tops and lightweight cardigans.
For UK delivery, we use Royal Mail’s Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 services. Provided goods are in stock, every effort will be made to dispatch your order the next day during shop opening hours, 1-3 days when the shop is closed.
To give you the best results we always check the dye lot numbers match within each order. If for any reason it is not possible to complete your order using only one dye lot we will contact you as soon as possible.
