This particular yarn is hanked without being scoured (or washed, in layman’s terms) first. This means it can feel a little crispy when you first knit, but once washed, the fabric blooms and softens like butter to give it that cashmere handle.
Kinross has a lovely rounded texture and an excellent stitch definition which makes textured knits, like lace and cable knitting, pop. A fantastic choice for colour work too.
